The Student Success Centre: Careers, Leadership & Experience offers programs and services designed to help you discover the best that you can be. The Success Centre offers leadership development and career exploration, skill development, mentoring, community engagement opportunities and social networks – just to name a few. Student Development Centre (SDC) is home to a variety of services specially designed to meet the needs of undergraduate and graduate students. Staff members are highly trained and experienced professionals who know what campus life is all about. Propel Entrepreneurship can help you navigate your entrepreneurial journey from conceptualization to commercialization. As Western’s on-campus resource for entrepreneurs, Propel equips start-ups with the resources, skills, space and network they need to succeed. Services include co-working space, mentorship, seed funding, Propel Summer Incubator program (PSI), retail opportunities, workshops and training, advocacy and promotion, pitch competitions and other events. Wellness Education Centre (WEC) offers a safe, comfortable environment for all Western students to ask questions and learn about the many health and wellness resources available on and off campus. The WEC is staffed by the Wellness Coordinator, Wellness Peer Educators, the Sexual Violence Prevention Education Coordinator and the Registered Dietitian, all located in lower level UCC (room 76).
