Fall Preveiw Day 2017 | Sunday, November 12

Campus Tours

Register for a tour

Taking a guided tour of our beautiful campus will last approximately two hours. If you also wish to visit our residences, an additional thirty minutes will be required in the spring / summer and one hour in the fall / winter. When possible, campus tours are tailored to the academic interests of the participants.

We do not conduct campus tours specific to the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law or Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. We are, however, more than happy to give you information about these programs while on tour.

It is very easy to reserve your tour space online (register for a tour link above), but if it is less than four business days before the date of your intended visit you will have to contact us directly to complete a reservation.

You can contact the Undergraduate Recruitment Office by email at liaison@uwo.ca or via telephone through the Student Central Helpline at 519-661-2100 (staffed Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

As a courtesy to our campus tour guide student staff taking time out of their busy schedules, please inform us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend a previously booked tour.

Please note the following:

All tours require advanced registration and are limited in size. You are encouraged to book early before they become full.

These are indoor and outdoor walking tours so please wear comfortable footwear and dress accordingly.

Only the tour dates and times with spaces available will be provided as online self-booking options. If it is less than four business days before you wish to visit for a regularly scheduled tour, you must contact the Student Central Helpline via telephone (519-661-2100) or email Undergraduate Recruitment (liaison@uwo.ca) so that we can make the tour reservation for you. Additions to a specific tour time can only be made if there are still spaces available as all tours are limited in size and some tour dates / times will fill to capacity.

Special Saturday tours are offered on a limited basis during the academic year. All campus tour guides are current students so we are not able to offer every Saturday as an option because of their studies.

It is important to note that these special Saturday tours will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and are booked as campus only (Note: there will be access to one hybrid-style residence for these tours - Ontario Hall). As well, not all buildings are open and all support offices like Admissions, Housing, etc. are closed on a weekend.

As with all tours, there will be a limited number of spaces available so you are encouraged to book early before they become full.

Please remember when booking for a Fall/Winter Saturday tour that you have to select the appropriate tour type (campus only) to access these dates.

Parking for Campus Tours

Complimentary parking passes will be provided to you on the day of your scheduled tour if spaces are available. Please park in a visitor designated attended lot. You will be asked to take a ticket to open the gate. Parking passes will be distributed at the start of your tour. When you leave with your visitor pass, you will be let out of the lot by the attendant at no charge. We apologize, but we are unable to refund your parking charges at campus meters or non-attended lots. For more information about parking on campus, please visit our Parking website.

For most campus tours, we suggest that you park in the Alumni / Thompson or the D. B. Weldon visitor lots which are close to the University Community Centre (where the tours start from). If no parking spaces are available in these lots, the attendant can suggest alternate pay by credit card options.

Services for Visitors with Disabilities

For visitors who require additional assistance or barrier free access, please contact James Oake directly at 519-661-2111, ext. 85675 or joake@uwo.ca at the time of booking so that we may make any necessary arrangements in advance of your visit.
